History: 1965: NRB Bearings Limited was founded as a manufacturer of needle roller bearings in a joint venture with Nadella France - the oldest needle roller bearing manufacturer in Europe. 1990: NRB Bearings Limited was renamed NRB Limited due to the expansion of production into various ball and roller bearings. 2012: NRB Industrial Bearings Limited was formed as a result of the spin-off from NRB Bearings Limited. Production began at the NIBL plant, manufacturing CRB, SRB, DGBB, and NRB bearings. 2013: NIBL was listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange. 2014: NIBL's research department received recognition from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research of the Indian Government. 2015: NIBL was certified to ISO standards.
